Dr. Md. Mahmud Hasan was born in Munshiganj(Bikrsmpur), Dhaka in 1987 from a reputed Muslim family. He is the eldest son of his parents. He was graduated from Mymensingh Medical College in 2010 with 10th Merit position in Dhaka University in Final Professional Exam. He completed his MD in Endocrinology & Metabolism from Dhaka Medical College under Bangladesh Medical University. He joined 31st batch of Bangladesh Civil Service in 2013. In his BCS journey,he served as Registrar of Medicine in Mymensingh Medical College from 2015-2018. He got promotion in 6th grade in 2021. He is a honorable Member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist and American College of Physician. He is not only an efficient clinician, but also an academician who is engaged in teaching of post graduate doctors and in research supervision. He is also active in extracurricular activities, he is currently serving as the President of M 42 Alumni Association, Mymensingh Medical College and Publicity, Publication & Public Relation Secretary of National Academy of Planning & Development Alumni Association
