Dr. Md. Mahmud Hasan has spent the last 16 years helping patients across Dhaka and Tangail understand and manage some of the most complex conditions in endocrinology.

Dr. Md. Mahmud Hasan was born in Munshiganj (Bikrampur), Dhaka in 1987. He graduated from Mymensingh Medical College in 2010, securing the 10th Merit position in Dhaka University in the Final Professional Exam. He completed his MD in Endocrinology & Metabolism from Dhaka Medical College under Bangladesh Medical University.
He joined the 31st batch of Bangladesh Civil Service in 2013. During his BCS journey, he served as Registrar of Medicine at Mymensingh Medical College from 2015 to 2018 and received his promotion to 6th grade in 2021. Today, he serves as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Dhaka Medical College Hospital while running three chambers across Dhaka and Tangail.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Hasan is an active academician engaged in teaching postgraduate doctors and supervising research. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American College of Physicians. He also serves as President of the M42 Alumni Association, Mymensingh Medical College, and as Publicity, Publication & Public Relation Secretary of the National Academy of Planning & Development Alumni Association.
Over the past 16 years, he has treated more than 10,000 patients, from a young adult newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes to an elderly patient struggling with thyroid complications.
